On this door holder, one part is mounted to the door, the other to the side of the trailer. It is primarily used for holding trailer doors open, but can also be used on trailer windows. The plunger stem is 2-1/2 inches long, and it includes a nylon socket.
The 2-1/2" measurement is for the hole piece together. stem + socket.
