The Triton 03173 Snowmobile Trailer Tilt Assist Spring Kit is designed to be used on single pole trailer tongues. It will fit most utility and snowmobile trailers with a 3" wide tongue. The spring lift is used for the tilting part of your trailer to help keep the trailer tilted to get the first machine loaded on the deck. This is a great option for those who need more help tilting the trailer with the extra weight of a salt shield or cover mounted to the front of the trailer. The Spring kit mounts underneath the trailer.
This kit fits the following Triton Models: XT4.5, Elite5, Elite11-101, Elite12-101, Elite12R-101, UT8, UT10
NOTE: This kit will NOT fit snowmobile trailers with wishbone tongue (Those will use Kit # 07984).
Important Information: When replacing a broken lift spring from a Triton spring lift kit, it is important to replace both springs and replace both bushings provided in the new spring lift kit. Both springs wear at essentially the same rate, so if you break one, then the other is also near its breaking point and both will need replacement. |
