The Triton 08267 XTD Trailer Gas Shock Lift Kit is used on Triton XTD series trailers. The smooth use gas shock lift kit will help you tilt your v-front trailer when loading your sleds. It is a great aid when you have a cover or salt shield working against you in the front.
This Kit fits the following Triton trailers: XTD11-101, XTD11-101 QP
Gas Shock, mounting hardware, and instructions are included.
If you have an older model Triton trailer, your trailer will not have the mounting tab welded to the frame. If this is the case, you will need an L-shaped mounting bracket to complete the installation. The L-shaped bracket is available here. Otherwise, you may be able to create your own L-shaped bracket by bending a flat piece of aluminum angle iron into an L-shape and drilling a couple of holes for mounting. Newer Triton trailers have this L-shaped piece welded directly onto the trailer.

Ask the Triton Expert:
"Where can I go to get detailed information on my Triton trailer?"
The Triton website has details about all of its trailers. The customer instruction sheets on the website will give you numbers for common wear items and replacement parts (TritonTrailers.com Instruction Sheets). You also should have received an information packet containing all of this information and more when you bought your Triton trailer. See your dealer to obtain this packet if you have not received it.
